Killin is a little village that sits at the western end of Lock Tay. Roaring through the center are the scenic Falls of Dochart, a popular picnic spot. Killin has some nice walking trails in town, and several mountains and glens nearby for hiking. One of the best walks heads up into the Acharn forest south of town and emerges above the tree line to some great views of Loch Tay. The best places to eat in town are at the hotels. One of the most popular bed and breakfasts is the Drumfinn Guest House, which has comfortable rooms and friendly hosts with great advice on what to do.
